Not positive, but 93% sure this quote sums up the reason we write. Some write books for fame, money, and influence. Others write to fill a hole or an emptiness in their minds and hearts. Still more write to make the voices stop. The rest, we believe, want to create imaginary worlds full of opportunity for a world without hope.
It doesn’t matter which you are. You could be a combination of them, for all we care. Why you write is your choice. What you write is your choice. How it impacts your readers is also your choice but harder to carry out.
We’re just two salty, reclusive teenagers struggling to tell people how we feel about ourselves and the world. Speaking our heart is difficult. Speaking our heart with paper lips is delightful.
